Printed Fabric Bee - June

Hey, everyone! What a perfect way to start summer, with a giveaway! If you've been following my blog or the Printed Fabric Bee, then you know that part of the celebration of creative talent is giving a 6" square away to one lucky person who leaves a comment on my blog here or my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/susan.purneymark

    I'm hoping for a couple of sunny, wind-free days in which to do some sun printing.
    I also have a quilt guild challenge to work on. The color palette is limited, but dyeing and surface design should spice it up.

    I am also hoping to do some sunprinting and some indigo dyeing...if it will stay rain-free for more than a day...

    I am getting started on a piece that will have the word love in various languages, like French, Hebrew, Chinese, Russian, Arabic. Arabic is so pretty!

    Hi Susan.. love the fabrics with the Industrial theme...great tips and techniques in the different pieces. This summer I plan to create a large stash of printed fabrics using screens, some original and some with stencils and soy way applications. Also trying Solar Fast and Color Magnet thanks to great online tips.

    Pretty interesting patters on the fabrics. Creative ideas - hopefully finishing my 2nd quilt top. Putting it with my 1st top and making a reversible quilt. Learning to quilt on a sewing machine. 24Tangent "at" gmail "dot" com

    I love your theme! And these fabric creations are beautiful! My main summer project is to create more creative space by de-cluttering. I'm also working on quilts for my daughter and granddaughter. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome fabric!

    My plan is to finish a knitting project and then do something fabric-wise. Probably working on already started projects (don't like to call them UFOs) that are waiting. I'm still loving all the different and unusual forms of fabric printing shared every month!

    Hi Susan,
    Right now I am designing with hexagons. I made a table runner to experiment with layouts - I need to see to know.
    I'd also like to do some dyeing as I have a "yellow" project in mind and what a better way to start than to dye some fabric.

    I love your industrial theme! I've had ideas simmering on the back burner for some time to transfer my tool drawings and use them in a piece. Your fabrics have really inspired me! This may be my new summer project!

    I've experimented with rust dyeing and my next project will be using Lynn's stencils. I'm thinking of different ideas to use your industrial fabric.

    Love these industrial designs. I would use these for art journaling or an art quilt. I would use the scraps for making ATCs or book marks with my students.

    These are quite wonderful, love the pop of colour here and there. These would be wonderful in small needle works with some added stitch. Must get out my geli plate and play.

    I will be making Quillows ( a Quilt when folded becomes a pillow), for my grand children. The fabric is lovely. My husband is an Ironworker. He loves that kind of Pattern.

    I am working on a quilt that is based on a photo of my maternal grandmother taken when she arrived in Canada in 1913. I also want to do some more fabric dyeing.

    Every month I say the same thing - you all amaze me! Each month is so inspiring and I love seeing each person's take on the theme and the variety of techniques use. The year of home remodel/improvements has finally ended and I am so excited to finally be able to create without distraction. So excited, I really don't even know where to start! LOL!

    I'm trying to work on my embroidery skills. I have a very small repertoire of stitches and am trying to improve that! (It helps that a lot of what I want to make involves embroidery :) ).
