Win some Fabric!

Here's puzzle and a prize for you.....tell us what you think this picture is and the first person to correctly identify it will win one of my hand dyed fat quarters. The photo has been cropped but not altered in any way. You need to be specific about the image and leave a comment in the box. I'll let you know who the winner is by Friday July 31st.

    It seems to be an imprint in sand. Possible a partial shoe imprint. Or an imprint of the side of something with a wheel, like a shopping cart.

    My guess is an old protractor buried in sand.

    It looks like a manhole cover that is covered with sand or muddy snow.

    This picture is fascinating. I am wondering if it is the impression from the bottom of a tennis shoe. It does also look like a protractor like momhooten suggested, but someone made the circles and then impressed the tool. Crazy guesses, huh?? It could actually be something from your trip to Hawaii???

    My second guess is that it's a surface shot of an old sculpture that has worn down with the elements.

    What an interesting photo! Is it the imprint made from a tennis shoe in the sand? I thought you might like to know that as a result of the photo puzzle challenge I now look at the bottom of every shoe I come across..Who would have ever thought I would find so much inspiration under shoes!     It was fun to recieve all your interesting ideas. I think I might do this more often....
