Win some Fabric!
Here's puzzle and a prize for you.....tell us what you think this picture is and the first person to correctly identify it will win one of my hand dyed fat quarters. It seems to be an imprint in sand. Possible a partial shoe imprint. Or an imprint of the side of something with a wheel, like a shopping cart.
My guess is an old protractor buried in sand.
I think it's the indentation from the bottom of a bucket...

This picture is fascinating. I am wondering if it is the impression from the bottom of a tennis shoe. It does also look like a protractor like momhooten suggested, but someone made the circles and then impressed the tool. Crazy guesses, huh?? It could actually be something from your trip to Hawaii???
My second guess is that it's a surface shot of an old sculpture that has worn down with the elements.

What an interesting photo! Is it the imprint made from a tennis shoe in the sand? I thought you might like to know that as a result of the photo puzzle challenge I now look at the bottom of every shoe I come across..Who would have ever thought I would find so much inspiration under shoes! Susan,thank you for taking me there!
